The people (Lighthouse: Church of Christ) are truly genuine. I love the friendship fellowship and teachings from the bible. Great preachers who go deep into the word with lessons that truly convict the heart. No spiritual fluff here. These members are truly disciples. Ami Shalom is a traditional synagogue which embraces a modern approach to Torah. If you are in the San Gabriel Valley and want a strong Jewish based Torah centered community I highly recommend Ami Shalom. They have free introduction to Judaism, Conversion and Introduction to Hebrew Classes
