Love this place go regularly to walk my dogs. Can walk and walk for ages however you want no set tracks. There are horses but please do not feed them and if you're nervous of horses they are easily avoidable and you can see clearly where they are. Big wide open space. Very muddy in the winter so wellies are a must. There's tennis courts, cricket pitch and a football pitch. There is 1 path that runs from 1 side to the other but the rest is grass.
First time we've been for a walk here for anything more than just seeing the horses. We discovered 1. a wishing tree/area, 2. surprised to find people riding the horses (permission received by the 4 ladies), 3. what we believe is a tug of war training post and 4. the grandstand. A day of smiles, questions and surprises
A good place to be alone with your thoughts and take in the fresh air
Great place for a stroll with the dog. Never too busy and lots of friendly horses.
