Consistently excellent fish and chips. Fish is always fresh and batter crispy and tasty, never greasy. Chips are also really nice. Never ever soggy and grey like you see from so many takeaways. Normally get cod bites for the kids (same quality as regular cod) - only need one portion for two of them. A cod, cod bites, saveloy, chicken nuggets and a large chips for about 18 quid. Can't go wrong. Best in Bucks. And in the summer it's only a ten min drive up to Coombe Hill. Sitting up there, eating fish and chips, looking at the view: lush.

Excellent fish and chips. Always freshly cooked, you may have to wait 5 minutes for your order at busy times but it's worth it.
Consistently good fish & chips. Can be a bit of a queue at peak times, especially Friday evenings; but that's probably because others agree with me that it's good!

Very traditional fish and chip shop. The main thing is the quality of the fish and chips, and the quality of the fish and chips is great! Tasty fish and crispy batter, not greasy.
