Classic, proper old fashioned chip shop. Definitely no airs and graces, just very good fish, cooked fresh and delicious. Wendell's proudly display their 5 star hygiene rating. Lovely team.

My favourite chippy in the neighbourhood. The food is always tasty, warm and they offer generous portions. And a variety of choice on the menu and sold at reasonable prices.
Good portion sizes at a good price. The quality of the chips went down a while ago but they are much better again now. Opening times are a bit unpredictable though. I'd recommend the fish bites, they are cheaper than the cod, but overall about the same amount of fish and the same good quality.
Fab girls really friendly excellent food freshly prepared, fantastic.
