The beach is stunning. Parking for 4 hours is 6.50. The reason I give it only 4 stars and not 5 is because - I wouldn't recommend for young families as it takes about 15 minutes to reach the beach, which is a long walk for little feet and anyone carrying a heavy picnic bag. On a busy day, the beach is so large you can find your own space and not be invaded by anyone else. A perfect beach for walking. It takes about an hour to stroll to Wells-next-the-sea via the beach, but, if the weather proves to be too windy, there is a woodland path you can walk to reach Wells-next-the-sea.

This is the biggest beach I have ever seen and definitely worth a visit. Entry is through the Holkham Estate and a small car park serves the whole beach - Gets pretty busy but not chaotic. After the car park you cross a forest and then see the huge sand esplanade, from enterin the beach its about a 25 minute walk to the sea! We took a walk through the beach to Wells on Sea (about 1h), where we had some excellent fish and chips! Because we went at low tide we were able to walk on the wet sand which is more firm - At high tide we'd have to wade through the deep sand which would have doubled the effort!

Such a beautiful place, open and expansive scenery. Wonderful and peaceful walks. Great to be able to grab a coffee after a long walk.

Beautiful place to visit come rain or shine. Stunning scenery includes beaches that are 500 meters deep before you reach the sea, 10 meter high sand dunes and forests. It can get very busy at times.

Beautiful place to visit. Dogs really enjoyed themselves! Glad we got there relatively early as it definitely packed out quick! 9 for all day parking, quite cheap compared to alot of places we've been with our dogs. 1 negative though for somewhere that's dog friendly we only found the 1 dog poo bin, which meant we had to carry it around with us until we got back to the bin near the car park. Still think it's worth 5 stars though....although I wish people would take there rubbish home with them!
