Knowledgeable skipper, very friendly and made the tour personal to us. He even let us have a go steering the boat and let us aboard the Lucy Lavers ex-RNLI lifeboat afterwards! Reasonably priced and entertaining - thoroughly enjoyed it.
An excellent couple of hours spent on 2 trips around Wells Harbour, the salt marshes and the estuary. Having grown up very locally, Nick (the Skipper) really knows Wells very well, historically, geographically and currently, and shares his knowledge freely. Nick is also one of the Wells Harbour Commissioners and understands the harbour's commercial operations and cultures. He's a really personable, friendly and helpful guy. At 10 per trip per person you won't find better value anywhere!!! A very special and thoroughly enjoyable experience. Ample Car parking is available on the west side of the town. Disabled access to boat side on the quay is via a wheelchair-friendly ramp and is very good. A real memory!!
Being local we decided we should go on this at least once and the boat trip was much more than i expected. The guide new his stuff and had fun with it which really made the trip enjoyable. Such a great price for an hours trip. Nothing is to much for the guide, he was happy to interact with my daughter and answer the questions coming from the little ones on board. Will be going again when we can.
