We went it today waited for 20min to be served and then told we just missed lunch service by 3min when they finally came to serve us! When we said we'd been waiting the waitresses said she did tell us but she didn't. Slow, poor and rude service, just ignored us so they didn't have to do a food order! Wouldn't even do a sandwich. In the end we didn't make a fuss we just left to find another place which would serve us. Went down to the fosso lounge and it was lovely and the atmosphere was alot more friendly. Wont be going back to the well cathedral cafe which I'm sure make lovely food but the attitude and atmosphere made us feel like they didn't want any custome which is a shame.

Beautiful cafe with lovely views of the Cathedral and the Green one side and the Moat and Palace the other. Great coffee scrumtious cakes and excellent good value lunches. My favourites are the chowder (fish soup) and the quiches.

Een heerlijke kop koffie, met een typisch Engelse zoetigheid, en een uitzicht op de oude tuinen van de kathedraal. De hele \scenery\ alleen al is een lust voor het oog.
