Had a perfect dinner tonight! I can definitely recommend this place. Me and my boyfriend ordered the rice and curry and a lime juice and everything was sooo good! The lime juice was probably the best so far in Sri Lanka. The rice and curry was a huge portion and super super delicious. We loved it! Beside that the owner is super nice and friendly. He even offered us a ride to our homestay in Weligama! Moreover, the seating area is very cozy. The restaurant is a small family business and everything is cooked and served freshly. Definitely check out this place!

Had an awesome dinner here with my partner. We had the veggie curry and fish curry. It feels like eating a home cooked meal and you will get to to meet and converse with Karu and his family. The restaurant is tucked away from the main busy parts of Weligama and is open 6-11 each night. Definitely recommend!

Hidden gem at Waligama, this restaurant that only opens for dinner is the perfect place to eat at night. Family owned, family food with all the friendly that Sri Lanka people have. If you are in Waligama do not miss the opportunity to eat there. It's just not the food but all the opportunity to eat local.

I’ve been to Sri Lanka many times over the last 20 years. That’s when I met Karu, he is all ways a really helpful tuk tuk driver and now a good friend. Having often been treated to his family’s hospitality and knowing how good their food is, I was excited to hear his plan. Now I can eat at his place all the time, can’t recommend enough. Lovely people, lovely atmosphere, lovely food where you can experience the real Sri Lanka. What more do you need! Not far from the beach - a must visit.
We try to find something locals and not an occidentalised restaurant with high price. And we found our place. Just a family who has this restaurant the father speak very well English and you almost eat in there house. The are well-known for there rice and curry which is the best that we eat for now in sri lanka. Generous portion with a lot of stuff. Happy to find this place, you should.'t miss it.
