Love this place for a quick get away when the clouds set in. You can just take the Seilbahn and go above the clouds. My favorite walk is the panoramic walk, the walk to Rigi Kulm is also beautiful. If you have GA, the Bahn is free, otherwise without halbtax, it is really expensive at 53 CHF to visit plus 8 chf extra for your parking. The lift is very very full even during the Corona time. If you are worried, don’t come now.

This place offers you a peace of mind you are looking for, surrounded by natural beauty from all sides you can hop on a cruise to reach here. The scenic beauty all through the way is so surreal.

We opted to ride to the top of Mt. Rigi instead of Mt. Pilatus because we have been Mt. Pilatus before and you get a great view of Mt. Pilatus. We got to our cable car by boat along the lake and used our Half Pass along the way to save on everything!
Don't miss this! You will have a spectacular view of the alps from this gondola. Also of the lake and town. We could hear the cow bells tinkling as we glided overhead.
