Visited Decathlon to return a faulty treadmill, obviously not happy about the return or the online support and was geared up for a row. I have reviewed the treadmill separately and been justifiably critical. Met at the store by Jess- who instantly put me at ease, nothing was too much trouble. Assisted with the offloading, spoke about potential exchange and showed me some options & without a fuss sorted out my refund. The service in store was exceptional & possibly helped retain a customer. Thank you.

A good selection of equipment, if not a little bit disorganised. Items are sometimes unlabelled or on the wrong pegs. I arranged online to reserve some equipment but didn't get an email to say it was ready until I actually stood at the till buying it. Having said that, staff were friendly and accommodating, plus I did manage to buy all that I needed (ski equipment).
Felt safe and spacious re Covid. Self checkout is good. The machines for this were great, Morrisons could learn a trick or two. Great stuff. Refund process was simple and staff very helpful and polite. Stock.is the issue. When a store claims to stock and sell equipment for 80 sports it needs to have stock. I was unable to buy navy blue football socks. The alternative colours didn't have quantities. No stock carried. Quite poor really. A sports shop that doesn't sell a basic item. Shame as otherwise good experience but stock supply was a let down.
29th December advertising your open until 7pm Travel 10 mile and got there at 6pm to find store was shut early... Well done Decrapalon
They have a toilet. I travelled an hour to get here and they have it closed because they are pretending it's because of Covid. Rubbish. Skinflints. Penny pinching. I will never use them again. I hope you don't neither.
