This miniature railway has been transporting families around Cassiobury Park, near the River Gade, for over 60 years. Open throughout most school holidays and throughout the summer months, it is a great little ride for children and adults alike. For just 2 per person, under 2s are free, you get a trip through a small patch of woodland and across the pedestrian path, before returning to the station. With plans to extend the track, build a new station (which will allow card payments, as it is currently cash only), incorporate all-weather carriages and carriages for those less able, the future of this miniature railway looks bright. A great way to spend a small part of your day.
