Excellent service from Nixuss computer repair centre. The work was carried out as agreed and to time. The expected outcome was explained and the result was exactly as anticipated. The bill was agreed in advance and the cost was reasonable. All in all a good job well done, thank you.
Sent in an ipad mini 4 cellular to get an initial repair as screen was glitching. This was in mid-late May. Following on from initial repair, the issue persisted and got worse, with ipad being stuck on recovery mode. Sent back in with final outcome being that they said they could not fix it, refunding the repair costs. Due to other priorities, I left the ipad in a drawer for a while but finally reserved time to try and get it resolved. Took to another repair shop yesterday and found out today that Nixuss made a complete mess of the device’s charging board, including of the soldering, overheating of components and even damaging components. Nixuss specifically made a mess of the charging circuit board, where the charging chip and capacitors were not sitting straight; flux was everywhere so a sloppy job as a whole, they burnt out a main coil, at minimum. I am disappointed because taking the device to Nixuss rendered it no longer worth repairing, meaning the purchase of a new device, which could have been avoided had I taken it to a shop that knew what they were doing - as it would have initially only needed a single component replaced on the circuit board to begin with. With the condition it was left in by Nixuss, many more problems have been caused, with nothing being resolved. This is primarily advertised as a computer repair shop. It is clear they have no idea what they are doing when it comes to ipads, even though they say they do - avoid at all costs.
I went to them for advice when my iMac went down. They got it going on the spot and refused to take any money - others I contacted just started talking 450 for new drive etc. You can trust these people. Thank you so much
