They don’t answer their phone during open business hours. They don’t have any voicemail system. The ordinary glasses I ordered 2.5 weeks ago seem to have not arrived. Although I can’t check on them because they don’t answer their phone. It seems you can get much better service elsewhere. I would not recommend them.

DO NOT BUY FROM HERE! CHEAP QUALITY WILL HURT YOUR EYES! YOU WILL REGRET! The glasses turn yellow within 3 months of purchase. This is due to sub-standard quality of lenses sold by Hakim across all stores. Look at the picture, the one above are purchased from Hakim and the one below are 3 years old. I checked with an optometrist and he advised me to avoid these lenses at all costs or it will end up damaging my eyes very soon. I REPEAT, DO NOT BUY! Your whole world will start looking yellow. They will give you promotions like 50% of the frame and lenses, offer customer service above and beyond and all they they give you is really bad quality lenses. The customer service suddenly turns rude if you point the flaws on their lenses, which they are very well aware of. On showing this to the store, they say they will check with their lab in Toronto. The funny thing is I get a call in 15 mins telling me it is normal and happens with all glasses. I have been wearing spectacles for the last 15 years and this is absolutely abnormal. A simple google search will tell you that lenses do not turn yellow within 3 months, and if they do, you are risking your vision. Not only will you lose your money which could be off your employer insurance, it will leave you cheated and damaged eyes. Spend a 100 more and get a good pair from reliable stores, nothing happens to a good pair of spectacles for years if you take good care of them.
Great Service everytime we go there. Ali goes out of his way to make sure we are happy as customers. My wife and I have been going to this location for many years. Always treated with respect. Thank you Ali and the rest of the staff. We will definitely be back when we need new glasses.
I am happy to say I am never coming back here! My goodness, the staff were sketchy and were throwing prices around randomly. E.g. a pair of frames I wanted initially cost 390, I asked what it would be after insurance and they said 395? I questioned it and they "double checked" and suddenly it was 360. After the anti-fatigue lenses, they marked it up to 500!! No way, Jose. I got the name-brand pair from another place for 235 dollars :) after my insurance covered 150. Not 30. Please stop scamming your customers!
Accidentally my frame broke 3 weeks into receiving my amazing new glasses with Blue Light Blocking lenses, I called this location with my issue and they handled it perfectly, I received a replacement frame a week later once they came in. They take care of you here I highly recommend Hakim on Weber Street in Waterloo! I’ve gotten Contacts from them as well and they work amazing.
A lovely gentleman greeted me at the door and promptly helped me fix my glasses with no charge. He was also helpful in informing me about my prescription. A great store as well, with excellent selection including designer brands like Guess and Versace for example. Highly recommend!
DO NOT BUY! Very bad customer service and cheap quality of lenses. I did not believe the reviews and now i am repenting. People here are very rude.
Very rude people and no choice of frames. The frames are from 1980s. Lenses are of very bad quality. No after sales service. Forget once you pay money.
