We were having a hard time getting my father's health card back after he lost it (admittedly it was gone for a while). He ended up in the hospital where he was set up with social workers to help with everything! Not before Dr papastergiou decided to remove him from his health care list. Not going back. Yes to a previous comment, he seems to be on vacation a lot. They were nice enough, but that's public service its expected.
This doctor's office is not worth a one-star rating. but I have to select the minimum. Precisely "zero" empathy atmosphere from the doc and his presumptuous know-it-all assistant Kim. He's gone half the time on vacation (literally) due to not liking what the province pays him. Don't bother calling Wednesday or Friday! I almost dread having to go there, but I have no choice, other than firing him in frustration and joining the growing numbers dependent on clinics which is even worse.
He's been our family doctor for about 15 or 16 years. His knowledge and experience has grown greatly over the years. Kim at the front is great. Easy to get in within the same day or the following day.
Easy to make appointments, amazing staff, and appointments are usually on time (no more than 15 minutes late). As much as I hate going to the doctor, this is a great practice!
