We went in for brunch, 1 coke 1 tea 1 milkshake, plate chips,bread and butter x2 and bacon roll 12.00 .staff cleaned down the table before we sat down , and when we walked in they asked if we was from the same house hold , and they scanned my sons phone as part off the table booking .... we sat by the window looking out to sea , but shame about the weather it was cold and gray .I would give this place 5 stars cant wait to go back in the summer .

Really nice cafe/restaurant with some lovely views across Portsmouth Harbour. The food and drink is always very nice and reasonably priced. Staff are always very helpful and friendly. Sadly on this visit the views from the table we sat at were obscured by a huge flashy yacht. Can get busy at peak times but worth loitering until a table comes free.
Nice views of the Harbour. But the Coffee was very poor, the Coffee Cake was the weirdest tasting coffee cake I've ever had (not good). The Chips we had were decent though.
Not the best attitude to cleaning & safety. Cleaning sheets signed (in advanced) when clearly the task is seen as a check box activity not a safety one. Food ok. but very slow even with reduced capacity with covid
Great location, weird experience. A cafe that has no coffee beans... I took Peroni instead because I already paid and was given half a pint. IMO not really how you should substitute. Staff looked tired and stressed to go home but still polite so maybe they could do with a bit more help?
