Having been to this restaurant many times and had takeaways quite often and always very happy with food and service and always plenty of it then covid hit and it has been a while since we have ordered from here however having just had a takeaway from them we realised that there must be new owners and I would not order again food was tasteless hardly any flavour and the sauce was very watery the bill has shaheens restaurant on it from stechford road in birmingham and they have put prices up too so what ever is on the website please ignore very disappointing

The wife and I came back here after an absence of around 20 years. The fact that it's still serving is a good thing in itself. Sadly the restaurant is in need of a face lift which I'm sure would attract more custom. The service is pleasant enough but they have made no attempt to comply with any Covid measures. Not that keeping social distancing is a problem here. My meal was very good but sadly the wife's was not as ordered an very oily. She had to leave it and we were offered a 50% reduction in the cost of her balti. It's not a special occasion place but you can get a good meal with complimentary poppadoms at an extremely competitive price if you're luckier than my wife. Good parking and take your own booze.

As you can see from the images a distance view the restaurant looks great however when you look closer at the tables (pixtured) it was clear that the table cloths haven't been changed in a while as there was food on them. Today I went to this restaurant with a large party. We booked ahead to ensure they could cater for us all. After nearly 3 hours of waiting, most of the party still hadn't received even a starter let alone their main. When the food eventually started to arrive it was of fair quality however due to the slow service it still meant that a large number of our guests were unable to eat and ended up leaving the restaurant after 11 p.m. without having eaten. I have visited this restaurant several times before and each time have been very disappointed with the quality of service and quality of food. Whilst today's quality of food has been better than previous visits, the service remains the same. There is wheelchair access to this restaurant. And around 10 to 15 parking spaces directly out front for the restaurant.

Food was fantastic and was equally matched by the host and his staff who were warm and the friendliest people you could possibly wish for in these unsettled times.Thank you for a very pleasant evening.

The food here is beyond delicious, served piping hot and fresh. The staff are very courteous, polite and friendly, service was A thank you so much!
