I recently went fishing with my 3 boys on 8/18/20 with Captain John and the crew, this was our first time and we really enjoyed the trip. Within about 1/2 hour an hour of leaving the dock we were fishing. The crew taught and helped my boys catch their first fish ever and after that they got the hang of it. The Captain and crew were awesome, very friendly, and helpful. They genuinely seemed to be concerned about all of us having a good time and catching. It was a pleasure meeting the others on board fishing, as well. We had such a great time that we are already planning our next trip before the season ends this year. Thank you Caption John and Crew!!!

This is the second time we have gone out on a fishing trip with Sunbeam Fleet and both times it has exceeded our expectations. Kiwi and Dave did an amazing job of making sure we were taken care of with rods, bait, and filleting our catch. We look forward to doing many more trips in the future. Keep up the amazing work!!
Excellent time fishing yesterday with my son- his first time, and my husband. The Sunbeam was clean and Captain Bob did a great job finding us fish to catch. DJ and Ethan were awesome in helping us whenever we needed it!! And boy can they filet a fish. Didn't waste a bit of meat. This is the Crew to go out with if you are looking for a super fun time and want to catch some fish!
I recently went out bottom fishing on 7/8/20 with the Sunbeam and really enjoyed the trip. Within about 1/2 hour an hour of leaving the dock we had lines in the water. We did well with the black sea bass and, for the first time ever, I caught my limit (and this coming from a guy who has had a few boats over the course of about 10 years). The captain and crew were some of the best, easiest going guys I've met. They genuinely seemed to be concerned about all of us having a good time and catching. It was a pleasure meeting the others on board fishing, as well. I had such a great time I've already booked additional trips and will continue to do so until the season ends.
Went out on 9/2. Miserable rainy morning. 6 fares on board. Captain could have understandably cancelled but we went out. I've been on party boats for 40 years. In spite of the weather this was a great trip. Starting with quality bait. Clams beat squid any day. Many captains would put us on a spot and let us fish the day away. This captain(apologies as I never caught his name) kept moving, burning gas his fares didn't cover, to keep us on fish. Seabass and blues kept coming over the rails. I didn't want to go in to escape the weather because I didn't want to miss out on the fishing! Thank you Captain and crew. My summer was ruined like many others this year. Landlocked in Albany, this was EXACTLY what I needes(weather aside) I'll be back! Hopefully next month for blackfish
