They left nails on my driveway and wouldn't come back until 3 days after I noticed to sweep for nails (called the office 10am on Friday, but they couldn't come till Monday because of a big job out of town). Because I needed to use my driveway and could not wait, I borrowed a friend's magnetic sweeper and in ten minutes I picked up 11 nails from my driveway and 15 nails from the lawn where my kids play. These nails would have been picked up if the job was done right the first time. They had left a bag flapping in my friends tree all summer when they did his roof. I would say for this roofer, oversight of quality is sometimes poor. They said they'd treat part of my property with TLC but didn't really. Quality of materials does not make up for lack of attention to important details. If you use them, get them to show you a clean sweep with the magnetic sweeper before you pay. It only takes 10 minutes and will ensure you don't get a flat tire or cut foot.

Have been using them for years, at least 4-5 times, to repair wind damage to our builder roof, so after the May 4, 2018 wind storm did a lot of damage, they repaired us quickly and got us watertight, but then decided to have them replace the whole roof. Quote was competitive. They use top quality shingles. And best of all, they hand nail the new shingles. Pneumatic nail gun installation by the builder was a big reason for our “builder” roof failing prematurely. Really liked how Main Street also provided a list of local area homes with addresses they’ve replaced roofs on so we could actually see the color on a house. Helped us confirm the shingle color selection.
We have a half acre property in Carlisle, most of it under roof with all kinds of crazy nooks, crannies, and turrets. We just had a feeling to go with a neighbourhood based contractor over one of the big guys and we were thrilled with the results.. Nadine was on top of keeping us informed of their schedule needs and Chris was right on site ensuring all of the work exceeded our expectations. The best part is is these guys left no trace in the flower beds, the bushes, or on the lawn of ever being there. Tremendous workmanship to boot. Highly, highly recommend.
