Had my knee operation on the 12th September through BUPA . Nursing staff fantastic but the venue and the food...o my god disgusting and the bill was 12000.... really.Had to go back for follow up appointment.Waited an hour for an x-ray and waited another hour to see the consultant ,never would I recommend this hospital if your going private...

I saw an ENT Consultant who didn't seem as though he wanted to be there, and after taking minimal history and without any physical examination, let alone not even asking me to take off my mask, made a diagnosis based on very little other than my job title (which even my GP was skeptical about). I made my first ever formal complaint and one of management (Lorraine) phoned me and apologised and said they would fix it. Several weeks later however I am no further forward with getting care from them, though I did receive their intention to bill me, which was the final straw in leading me to decide to go elsewhere for care. Unfortunately their billing department seems to be more efficiently run than the ENT department and has left me feeling that this is possibly representative of their priorities and values. My first complaint ever, and I would recommend people avoid this hospital at all costs, especially if you're hoping they will respect you and your money.
