Doctor Wortmann within 3 minutes of My visit dismissed my symptoms and told Me I should see a psychiatrist! He was very condescending!

I saw Dr Wortmann after I got sick on a trip to India and I was having a lot of symptoms even a couple months after my trip. He dismissed me to say that I didn’t have a parasite and that it’s probably something else or I was stressing at work. He agreed to do basic stool test to check for parasites which often come back negative and miss it altogether. He didn’t listen to my symptoms and I went a year with terrible symptoms before seeing another doctor who immediately started me on treatment and within 5 days I was back to normal. Very disappointed in Dr Wortmann and hope he sees this and realizes he needs to LISTEN to his patients especially for an Infectious Disease doctor!
