Dr. Shin has been amazing throughout the entire experience of getting my wisdom teeth removed. The staff will only allow one patient in the lobby at a time for social distancing and take temperatures upon entry. When I went in for my consultation, Dr. Shin described the entire procedure in depth as if I could have performed it myself! He made me feel very comfortable, as did his staff. On the day of the surgery, I was feeling nervous and he came in and told some jokes to ease my nerves, and before I knew it, the anesthesia kicked in and I was waking up with my wisdom teeth removed. I had some concerns about a week after surgery so I left a voicemail on the office line. Dr. Shin personally returned my call after hours and answered all my questions and let me know that he is available any time, even on the weekends, should I have any more questions about my recovery. Amazing customer service, would definitely recommend to anyone that needs oral surgery.

i usually don’t write reviews but this time i wanted to say thank you to Dr shin in a way since i did not get the chance to see him after the surgery. i took 4 of my wisdom tooth out i went under general Anastasia but it was 100% painless for me even after the painkiller wears off . ive seen so many people suffer after surgery but my experience was totally different thanks to dr shin perfection . everyone in the office was very professional and love there service.i feel so lucky i found capital oral and may God bless dr shins hands thank you!

If you are looking for a good and detail-oriented oral surgeon in DC area, you are in the right place. Dr. Shin is an expert in his profession that sincerely cares for his patients, is willing to work things out with you in terms of time and money, and thoroughly explains the whole process, as well as each step in your future treatment plan. If the tooth is restorable, he would rather send you back to have it fixed than mindlessly removing it, as he believes that your own teeth are always the best. Teeth implants, extractions, TMJ issues, biopsies, and even jaw surgeries - he does them all, and does it right! His office, unlike many, provides you with the TOP safety measures in terms of COVID precautions, so I can assure you that you are safe out there. The staff is amicable, informative and efficient, they will surely make you feel at ease whatever problem you are trying to fix. Thank you Dr. Shin for a good care until now! I would say that I wish I had more teeth-related issues, but you fixed them all.. ;-) - kk.
