If you are in the DC area please come by the Library of Congress and check it out it’s open to the public 7 days a week. Hopefully it will be open soon for visitors from this COVID stuff and Fence that surrounds Capitol Hill area. Just know the building is waiting for it’s visitors just like us employees who work here and keep these amazing places running for all to come and enjoy.

Wish it was open to the public to go inside. The Jefferson Building is magnificent. I hope it opens to the public so I can return the many library of congress books i have.

This is the most beautiful interior to a library anywhere in the world. It’s wonderful to see that such an important place is so breathtaking with its colors and patterns, combined with an amazing collection of books. The tour is worth the start if your time is limited. This should be a mandatory stop on your national mall tour and the best thing is that it can be combined with US Capitol visit as there’s a tunnel that leads directly to the library.

Amazing! Was on holiday from South Africa and was privileged to be able to visit the Library of Congress. This library houses more than 164 million items, from books to photos to recordings to maps to…much, much more. It also serves as a museum, with numerous exhibits inside the incredible Thomas Jefferson Building.

The Library of Congress has a beautiful interior. The colors, patterns, and architecture are absolutely breathtaking. The collection of books is priceless. This is definitely something you do not want to miss—and can be visited after the U.S. Capitol, as there is a tunnel that leads to the library.

Pretty cool place to visit. Terrible hotel. Floor is mosaic tile and very cold to sleep on. 0/10 would recommend. Bathrooms are dope tho.
