You must go when you come to Pontianak. I tried sambal petai, grilled fish (Ikan bakar), sambal, and daun ubi. This place serve the dish like Rumah makan padang. For price it's comfortable with our pocket
Ikan Bakar here is very nice. The restaurant is crowded at the lunch time. If you look for quiet place to eat yours, you can bring your food to the upstairs and see the view from there. Food prices is so affordable. Located nearby office building, so their customer mostly an employee.
Muantap, or grrreat, not many much option on the menu so don't worry there's only fish head soup, grilled fish( 3 variety), and grilled chicken, all in traditional Malayan (padang?) Seasoning, ice tea, hot tea and mineral water. That's it. Don't expect this place to be quiet there's lot of people queueing for lunch.
