Warth Park Way, Raunds

Plenty of trees being planted. Signposts up. Bat boxes up. Picnic tables now in situ and benches placed at strategic points. Dog bins and rubbish bins a-plenty. Would be nice if more people used them! Lovely walks.

A simple site with weather-proof path that winds between pits so deep with water that there are lifebelts in case of emergency. There's a small car park. Lots of very small trees. Nice view over the hills with towers of more than one church visible in the distance.
Only those with a furtive imagination could call this place a country park. Basically, a car park in a grassed area for dog walkers, few a few immature trees that aren't tall enough to hide the warehouses - \sheds\ that don't belong there. Oh and the odd passing artic lorry and road noise from the A45. \Country park\ no. A half hearted sop, to mollify the locals who remember the countryside before the sheds arrived, probably a better description.
The dogs love it here, even when its minus 2 and foggy
Lovely place for a dog walk. Plenty of benches and rubbish/poo bins.
