North and South Old Mac Mt Loop. Awesome hike, between 8 and 9 miles. The North Old Mac trail is moderate with a fairly gentle climb. The South Old Mac trail is a beast, much more rocks and boulders...I'm glad I went down and not up (did the loop clockwise). Gorgeous hike...love this park. Looking forward to many overnight camping adventures here, come spring.

Great moderate hike with a waterfall here and there. The Wildflowers are to die for! I've heard that Frozen Head had the largest population of diverse species of Wildflowers in the southeast..... and I believe it! Beautiful array of flowers, ferns, ect.
