We were there for takeaway a few weeks ago. Was very friendly and the food was amazing! I definietly want to recommend to go for the dish, DOMODAH. It became our absolute favourite.
My fiance and I were searching for something different yet authentic and we were pleasantly surprised by African Kitchen! The owner was very friendly and helped me decide on my order. The plantains are a must!!! The place is a little hard to find but close to Metro Natolin and well worth it!
So covid hits only to go- we wanted to try something new and help restaurants. We chose African Kitchen - we choose one dish, they say 40 min we say it’s too much we add soups but we re told some other main courses take less. 30min. We drove 30min with the dogs. We agree but we wanted to have the soups in the car. After 15 min and the soups we wait 1 more hour. We open in the car potatoes fried and microwaved - cold. Meat that we were waiting for COLD. My husband had been waiting the past 15-20 min in front of the restaurant. I call to ask why did we wait if it was cold and was told maybe the microwave was not working - word for word so help me God. I just read some comments guessing this, unfortunately I can confirm. We waited 1h15 in total for a small microwaved cold lunch 55zl.
A most pleasant surprise. A place with real African and vibe. We had dinner here yesterday, very happy to find on the menu items we remembered from our trips to Ghana and South Africa. The staff told us they have cooks from several countries, including Ghana and Senegal, and as these sometimes change, so does the menu. The food was served quickly, fresh, very tasty. We sat there, outside, with the food, and African drinks (try baobab juice), and music, and we just felt like we were back, traveling again. We'll return soon, although I'm worried for their survival, because of the location. It's not where the other restaurants are, few people pass by, and it's only by chance that someone finds it and decides to give it a try.

Finally some fantastic african food! Amazing! Answering your message, I've been there with a couple of friends near the end of November I think. The chicken I've had was with rice and this bread dough was the best food. I can't wait for the reopening, I'm really looking forward to it!!!!
Please do not drink the water with lemon in it. It's meant to wash your hands made that mistake. But I am living to tell the tale. Do try the okra soup delicious. Greatly recommend.
