Awesome church. Museum at the basement.
In this case Army means Armed Forces and so includes Navy, Air Force and Army. See Wikipedia for details but as you might imagine there are memorials and medications to all things military. Although historically from around 1670, like many a building in the Old Town it was rebuilt between 1947 and 1960 after the destruction of the town by the Nazis.
Even in communistic times the soldiers had their honours in this church .A place of remembrance of many battles we fought and many heroes we lost. CZEJŚĆ ICH PAMIĘCI
Interessting church. Much different then the other churches in Warsaw
