Great education for young anglers. The hatchery has a great aquarium and they let you fish for free. They supply the pole and bait. Your little ones will have a great tine.
Drove over an hour to get here with girlscout troop after confirming they would be open then after sitting outside gate for an hour without contacting or warning us the said yeah we are just not going to open, too bad.
Good family fun
My grandkids love fishing, they provide everything, bait, tackle box and rods. The only suggestion would be bring your own kid rod if you have it. The full size rods are are a bit of a challenge for young children. The small aquarium is very nice with plenty of fish to to observe and there is also a couple of tables where the kids can touch and feel or create a animal drawing.
