I served my time there, no matter how the station was run strategically, the people who worked there were very supportive and knowledgable.

Very good energy. My eletric stuff like this. Kinda reminds me of Homer Simpson.
Watt impressive premises; classic 70's feeling. I couldn't resist the opportunity to review this power house. A little shocked at the dust levels; tolerable though given the large static piles of coal adjacent. Flavoursome steam boiled electricity (AC vintage I believe), although it does have hints of carbon with undertones of sulfur. A mark of the ingredients used I'm a-farad, but amp-le given the service is lightning quick. I left the place fully charged, ready to hertz ohm. Hopefully I can conduct another visit soon before the electrons dry up for good. Overall it was an energising experience, just the jolt I needed to feel re-volt-alized.
I've always loved Fiddlers Ferry Power Station as I have long seen it from my hometown of St Helens since I was 5yo in 1983, especially in Sutton Manor. I went to the Open Weekend 15th & 16th July 1989 with my parents for a tour around boiler, turbine halls and then control room and close up to a cooling tower. Very sad to see FFPS to go soon
Great service! Staff very friendly and best pint of electricity I've ever had!
