Mel made us the most amazing wedding cake for our winter barn wedding. It was a 3 tier wedding cake which was absolutely amazing both in terms of look and taste. The top tier was traditional vanilla, and the bottom tier lemon curd, and the central layer (which was the star of the show) was chocolate orange! Mel was amazing to work with, super responsive to email and really listened to everything we wanted, including putting our favourite Lego figurines on the top! We had our wedding cake made by A Bite of Delight & have to say everything was excellent! Melanie had loads of great ideas & in the end we went for a small main cake with cupcakes to give to guests so they could take home afterwards. They looked & tasted gorgeous, we couldn't have asked for more! Melanie supplied individual boxes for the cupcakes with our names & date of the wedding printed on, perfect! Service from start to finish was faultless & would recommend to anyone! We will definitely use A Bite of Delight the next time we need a cake!
Simply amazing! Mel really took the time to understand exactly what we were looking for and the attention to detail was incredible. Our guests were blown away by our cake (as were we) and considering the huge amount of time that went in to our cake, the price was fantastic. I've also done some of Mels cake classes which were so much fun. She is professional from start to finish...I cannot recommend enough.
Mel made a wonderful cake for our twins 2nd birthday. We found out one had a milk allergy and she was happy to change the cake so that he could eat it and I must say it was lovely we all enjoyed eating it. She is professional and friendly and always helpful, I can't wait for her to make our wedding cake next year. I always recommend her to anyone looking for a cake to be made.
Having Melanie making my cakes year in year out. She is unbelievably artistic and creative with all her designs of cakes. I would always recommend Melanie to make your cakes. Her delivery service is always on time and all her cakes come in very well condition. What ever cake you order if its chocolate or icing there always packaged well and i wouldn't doubt them.
