Played the main course today (Warley) and overall I was impressed after so much rain for the past month. The course has a nice balance of short and longer holes, with plenty of ups, downs and turns along the way. Few of the tee shots are blind and the course overall will test a wide range of abilities. The greens were very good, running true as you can expect for winter. No temporary greens in play and none of the greens were waterlogged. Fairways in mid to high lying areas were good, with only the lower lying areas a bit wet, though you could find a place to drop your ball. Small negative was some of the temporary teeing areas being extremely boggy and positioned unevenly on some holes. Staff and members were friendly and helpful. I recommend playing here and look forward to playing again soon.

Love the layout of this course and the challenging holes. Lots of blind holes and a bit hilly. Greens a little bumpy but generally ok. The tee box could do with a bit of looking after. 3.5 stars

Played yesterday Sunday 13th December. They should have closed the course, it was a mud bath everywhere except the greens. Tee boxes were just mud. Nearly lost my shoes several times as they got stuck in the mud. They should have closed the course and offered refunds. Normally love to play here though. Just to much rain recently.

The course set up was lovely and the greens were fast and and very challenging. So all in all I would recommend this course not very long but very challenging. The only thing that spoilt it was the 2 ball behind kept driving balls up to us as some of the holes are blind and drove the 17th while we were putting out and said they had every right to do this

Very slow and quite wet but quite understandable considering the weather lately and the last day of golf before lockdown. The greens we're excellent ,holding, running true and fast. Some of the tees we're poor and a few tee mats we're in use. I'd guess this course would be superb thru the dry summer months. Will definitely play it again.
