Ducked in for lunch when nearby cafes were full. Had low expectations, but my family and I were very pleasantly surprised by the friendly service and really good sandwiches and fresh salads. Recommended!

great pub proper local proper market town pub with good food and great ales friday & saturday are very busy as is sunday carvery. huge beer garden with regular events. easily best venue in town

Absolutely disgusting service on a Friday afternoon with two kids in tow and got a plastic track and trace thrown on the table with pure attitude!! Then asked rudely what drinks we wanted! All the attitude because I didn't want to sit on a table with two young children by men drinking! Was more out of politeness as I had two children! So grabbed our coats and left! I will be speaking to the manager about the rude waitress!!
Very helpful and friendly staff, a member of Cask Marque so great beer.
