I have struggled with this pharmacy and its inefficiency for the last 3 1/2 years but yesterday was the final straw. I used it because it should be convenient as its in the same building as my GP surgery, but trying get your prescription is nothing short of a trauma! I have had them lose my script, claim it was never sent despite me watching the doctor hit send on the system, twice had the wrong items, and last night my husband stopped in to pick up a prescription that was sent to them at 10am, only for them give him (and charge him) for a 2 month old prescription of something else that I had asked them to cancel one week after ordering as it had been ordered on repeat in error. I'm now out of pocket and having to go to another, more competent chemist now that I have managed to retrieve the script that they ignored last night. And they can't understand why I'm so annoyed! This is not a Covid related problem - they have been this incompetent since I started using over 3 years ago. Will not use them again.

Entrepreneurship at its finest to have such an inefficient and frustrating system that it makes you contemplate buying some extra painkillers for the headache of having to wait unjustifiably long for a simple prescription. Just save your time and get it sent to Brett's in Grove.

Always such a long wait for everything - have even tried getting prescriptions sent through to them electronically to help make things more efficient but that's not helped either. The pharmacy is very poorly organised when it comes to precriptions - I don't know why they don't do at least a quick check first thing in the morning for electronic prescriptions and then another quick check at lunchtime every day - would improve the service considerably. I dread having to get a prescription, will only do it now if I've phoned up 1 hour prior to collection to make sure they actually have it ready.

After putting a prescription in. After 2 weeks it still was not ready for collection. I just love waiting around for nearly an hour.

Be prepared to wait. The pharmacy is attached to two surgeries, but even if you leave a prescription to be filled from the local surgery, three days later you have to wait for them to find the paperwork, then fill it. Other local pharmacies will have your medications ready to collect when you arrive.
