Was here last month having spent a weekend down in the Black Down Hills and was given a suggestion. Came back 3 time’s as it was such a wonderful place. Great chilled out garden for drinking and really nice simple menu with good options for anyone. The two managers were such a wonderful couple and we enjoyed speaking with them. When back in the area I’ll definitely be back!

Very friendly, made to feel very welcome. Food was delicious. Lovely beer garden and a plus they are dog friendly. Beautiful hidden little jem of a pub. So happy we found it on our holiday.

Great food with some interesting options in addition to pub favourites. Outdoor seating is extensive. We were there on a boiling day and mix of shade and sun worked well for families. Very friendly competent service.

Staff are welcoming , friendly and obliging. Comfortable, safe environment. Food is to a very high standard and most tasty. Combine all these things and the result is a most enjoyable experience of eating out. Despite Covid 19.
