Great place to eat and very popular with the locals. Prices are very reasonable and I have eaten here about 15 times over the last 2 months. I would recommend the for a number of reasons 1, excellent food. 2. Very well priced. 3. Value for the money. 4. Great staff and I could continue. It is basically a must go for local Serbian food.
One of the tastiest and most affordable cevapi I've ever had. Draft Jelen they serve here is a lot more weaker and dilluted than its bottled counterpart, but that isn't neccessarily a bad thing. The salad was quite refreshing and really tasty, great choice of cheese right there. The waiter who served us was quite friendly. My only nitpick, and the thing that actually surprised me, is that people were smoking on the inside even though it's a restaurant - which is something I haven't seen before.
The kajmak is on point at this venue, absolutely delicious! The portions are smaller than your average sandwich bar and the price is higher but they have a nicely furnished restaurant for dining in as apposed to your usual hobo style outdoor seating arrangements that most rustic fast food venues have. Good sandwiches and friendly table service! #BeatTheGrind
Serbian grill at it's best. If you like ćevapčići, Walter is a place to go. Don't get me wrong, pljeskavica (serbian Burger), chicken breast and other dishes are great too, but you come to Walter to eat ćevapčići. Onion is obligatory, and kajmak is optional. During the winter, take kiseli kupus salad. If you are in a hurry, you can order in advance and have it ready to collect. They also have a delivery service, but the waiting time is at least 40 minutes if you are lucky. Also keep in mind that during the lunch time, place will be packed, but they take reservations. My opinion about Walter: highly recommend.
