these guys provide meat to Woodys of Flimby, and it was a perfect breakfast. Sausages were awesome and the bacon was 'proper' bacon. Big shout for Walsh's Butchers for great meat.
The perfect Cumberland sausage should be nice and meaty with plenty of pepper and Walsh’s sausage beats them all for me. Marshall’s in Workington comes a close second. Lindsay’s sausage in Cockermouth is extremely variable and on several occasions I have had sausage from Lindsays that was on the turn.
