The store is big, bright and clean. I've had some great purchases from here in the past but this time they didn't seem to have as large a variety of stock. The fabric choices are questionable and not that varied. However if you're looking for other crafts like drawing and painting they're well stocked and it's a great place to shop. Staff are always lovely.

Well I finally got to go to Hobby Craft, our daughter had to do a school project so we thought we would give it a go. At first I was quite impressed with the selection of craft materials available, and with a little staff help we soon found what we were looking for, the staff were really helpful and polite, there were a couple of things they did not have, but no matter we managed to get other things instead, it was a bit pricey compared to other places, Wilko, Pound shops etc, and most of the stuff we needed we could of bought from the pound shop but not all. So depending on the project you are working on this place may not be for you, but certainly for any specialist project this is deffo the place.

The kids love this place, it really is crafts galore, with lot's of choice for 10yr old and good selection of more serious art supplies for 14yr old. The baking section is pretty comprehensive and a great stockist of the coloured Renshaw ready to roll icing (my preference). Staff never seem very happy but they aren't rude so can't really complain. Maybe a bit pricey...

Limited numbers in store, hand gel at entrance and on stairs, antibacterial spray for baskets. Screens for staff and mostly feels safe, but some customers not keeping to social distancing rules in narrow aisles. Generally felt safe and calm.
