First time ordering today and will defo be back!! Donner meat was plentiful and tasty and the chips were fresh and piping hot. Brilliant chippy

Six quid for a 'regular' cod (ie large, fresh, crunchy batter), big portion of chips, and peas. Also do pies, kebabs, sausages, haggis, plenty of choice. Very clean, modern. Excellent wheelchair access into door, and to tables, with loo also on the flat. Large dining area downstairs.

100% the best chicken tikka in Wigan. Really clean and easily the smartest food place in the town centre.. Can't recommend enough!!

This is honestly the best chippy I've visited in years!!! I had begun to think the art of good fish and chips had been lost but it's alive and well at Wallgate Chippy. Small cod & chips with peas and a brew set me back a very reasonable 4.50 and it's was worth twice that. Perfect traditional English grub, lovely light crispy batter, great quality fresh fish, absolute winner!!! Go there. Seriously, do!!
