Lovely walled garden - a great place for a bit of peace and quiet. And all free. There's a small tea room as well. Not a huge choice of food, but what's there is fine.

Beautiful, pay to park in the public car park. And free to walk round the castle however I could not get into the walled gardens.
Simply beautiful and very quaint! The workers in the garden and the tea room were lovely! Highly recommended stop!
Small garden with a lot going on, the plants were only just waking up so not much colour but could see that later in the season to would be filled with colour. Great that it was free and you could even have a coffee and sit in the garden to drink it. We had seen the ruin castle which is next to the garden, I would encourage people to go if you are in the area.
Absolutely lovely park for an interesting walk around, it's got large open spaces, ancient buildings and a beautiful river. Fantastic.
