I had received reminders that my eye test was overdue so decided to try W&R who had been earlier recommended by a friend. We were surprised that the eye check found very little change and was told 'it isn't necessary to to have new specs unless you wish to change them' What a contrast with the national chains of opticians who would have not suggested that option. However the specs had become scratched which was making night driving difficult so went ahead and ordered new ones. I could not fault Jonathon's attention to the selection and fitting, and the end result is more than stisfactory - in fact Excellent.

I have been going to Walford and Round since I was a child, so well over 30 years now. I have lived all over the UK, but due to exceptional service and the friendliness of an independent family run business I stayed with them as my opticians. Service is second to none and nothing is too much trouble from the lovely reception ladies such as Elaine, to the opticians and after care with Jonathan. Thanks guys!
I have been a customer of Walford and Round for over 50 years. That speaks for itself! I recently went for an eye test with Mr Hayward and got my usual friendly and very professional service. My new glasses are fantastic and I can see things much clearer. The reception staff and opticians are all very friendly and extremely efficient. I highly recommend them.
Myself and my husband have been customers of Walford and Round Opticians for several years now and we highly recommend them. Our eye health is important to us and we feel the staff here share that passion. They take the time to listen and discuss our needs without us feeling that we are being 'rushed' along. We like that we get a really friendly welcome, individual service, help choosing frames, quick processing of glasses and product after-care. We feel our eyes are in safe hands with the staff at Walford and Round.
