I could dispose of my rubbish there which is great. It did smell of waste generally , but I don't mind that ,however I can understand some may find that unpleasant. All staff were wearing fluorescent clothing which helped in my understanding of who was who . Worth a visit.
This place always has a long queue of cars waiting to dump their rubbish. I guess this is good - this means people are taking responsible stance to try and recycle or at least drop off their garbage correctly instead of fly tipping it. It's a nice place, for a waste site. Well organised, as clean as it can be and clearly marked. Also it has recycling for most types of household waste. Would be great to have a donations collection for small electric appliances as well, this type of donation bank is missing for some reason. Also I would love to see more signs explaining how the recycling is happening and what will be made out of the waste we sort and drop off. There are signs about metal recycling, but not about any other materials.
After several very bad experiences here from sexist and non motivated staff today's visit was a pleasure. Staff were helpful and happy. Site being cleaned constantly. Staff looked all Covid safe masks etc...... Howerver I only saw another 2 members of the public wearing masks ....
