A quick shop - very Covid oriented. I felt safe - lovely staff and produce. Thank you

A medium-sized Waitrose located in the centre of Wokingham. It has a decent car park, ideal not only for shopping but also for visiting the town’s restaurants and pubs. Manager sometimes looks grumpy and not always lets shoppers pass first when he is on a move, which is very odd and contrary to John Lewis Partnership training. It still is the best place to shop for groceries in Wokingham. All staff are friendly, professional and helpful.
Parking - great. But. This was a top up shop whilst I went for my covid jab in Wokingham. There was no Waitrose Brandy 35cl. I've rather taken to egg nog and just needed a splash of flavour. I wanted coconut butter cream for my skin but there was none. And the choice of facemasks was pretty grim. Same ones they've had in other Waitrose shops since the beginning - I'd like a bit more choice.
Good Covid-19 social distancing compliance. Decent range of fresh produce, if a bit pricy. I cook a lot of international dishes and can usually find what I need. Having worked on Meat and fish counters at Waitrose in a previous life, the skills and knowledge of people working the counters is sometimes lacking. They have a good range of wine and beer. It's best to look out for special offers.
My family’s favourite UK supermarket! Many reasons for that: superior cleanliness, always tidy, amazing customer service, great selection of products.
