Apart from the fact that this shop always delivers on everything possible with a fabulous variety of foods and great offers, today was even more special for me as feeling down and struggling to remember my pin number at the till when Heather who was serving me disappeared for a second and came back with a lovely lilac plant for me to cheer me along. How lovely and it brought a tear to my eye. What a lovely kind and thoughtful lady. I walked out of the shop feeling elated. Thank you sooo much Heather xx

It's big and clean, the staff are pleasant,one gripe it didn't carry as much Lamb joints as, Waitrose Mere Green, otherwise first class.

Until about a few days ago I have always shopped at Waitrose firstly at Meergreen & since moving to Lichfield 6 years ago used that branch for all my groceries & have been happy with the service but I nearly always use self checkout to keep me up to date with some technology at my age I have enjoyed it but one occasion I was just checking to make sure everything had been scanned by moving my bags to check nothing hiding when the assistant came to me & said you haven't scanned the marmalade I said I'm in the process of checking everything before I press & pay & then she said you haven't scanned the newspaper either & I gave her the same answer. It was the accusing way she spoke to me which shocked me. When I went to the car I told my husband & I said I was going to ring to complain about her attitude. My husband was not too well when we got home so I didn't ring but receiving your message I've taken this opportunity .We spend a lot every week with you which I've always enjoyed but now I feel as though I shall try somewhere else.. A bit pricey but the quality of goods is great. Covid measurements are also good.
