Waitrose have very friendly staff. Nicely suprised by some of the prices. Christchurch branch is good for a decent basic shop. A smaller range of good brands. Pleasant to shop in. Watch oit for some good bargains.

Great supermarket. Would reiterate other reviews though - paying for parking isn't great. And with COVID and people not carry change any more, it is particularly annoying to have to pay 40p extra to pay by phone. Still, the quality of the food more than makes up for it.

Much of their stuff is really good - I LOVE their chicken, leek and spinach pie. However, too often shelves are unreplenished or prices not labelled. Yesterday I went to pay and a man on the till coughed vigorously into his hand, and continued to handle the customer's purchases. I thought there was a virus around! I am complaining to the manager. This is what I mean - the management is too casual.
