Leisurely day out shopping for groceries with a lunch from typically compact but interesting Waitrose menu, not a bad way to spend a Saturday afternoon..

This was my first click and collect with waitrose. They were very helpful, the car park could have had clearer signage as to where the click and collect bays are. But it's only small so didn't take long to work it out. But the way they do it is quick, no hanging around waiting for someone to bring your groceries like another supermarket I've used!

Went to Waitrose at 9pm Saturday evening to get a turkey thinking it would be a safe time to go. It was extremely quiet,hardly any customers in the shop but as we were browsing the turkeys a family of 5 came in with all 4 teenagers not wearing masks. They pushed in front of us and we had to move away as my husband is clinically vulnerable. We felt we needed to get out and ended up taking a turkey we didn't need and costing twice the price because we didn't feel safe to leave it back to get the smaller one. They should have been stopped at the door and asked to wear masks rather than making things unsafe for others. Surprised and disappointed at Waitrose.

The best supermarket in the area. Wide aisles: lots of delicious food.fish.delicatessen and meat counters. Lovely professional knowledgeable staff. Plenty of parking.
