Pop in here from time to time for a change, staff always friendly and we can usually get a seat, which may be in the pleasant garden when busy as there are lots of covered booths. Mostly Young's on cask but good guests are often on. During covid the requirement for table service has meant we have left early as it was taking so long to get served, but when less busy it's not been an issue. In all, a proper pub!

I was very impressed with the food here. We go here fairly often for drinks, but never eaten or even seen the food. On this occasion it was a last dinner out with friends from the states. They too were very impressed with the presentation and tastynes of the food! Give them a try, there meals are great

This place is awesome the owner is a lovely guy always welcoming. Just had lunch there and the food never fails to deliver. We have been coming here for around 5 years and food quality and service has always been delivered to high standards. Highly recommend visiting this lovely place :)

The regular burger and chicken burger are quite good. Only problem was that a pint turned out to be nearly 6 pounds and they automatically charge 12.5% tip. In the end, the meal ended up costing much much more than it was worth

Spotted the Waggon & Horses walking from my HQ to the hotel, so thought let’s give it a try. Wow really lekker. Great service from the waiter did not catch his name but always attentive. Nice selection of lager and Ales and grabbed a burger as well. The Big Blue burger, really well presented and tasted magic. In this area for two weeks and I will be back. Maybe try the Sunday special. Thanks Waggon & Horses.
