Great pub, been a customer here for over 30 years, looking forward to when they can be open again. Only met the new Landlord twice, very nice man; hope to be able to visit for a beer and some food soon rather than just cut through the carpark to take 'the hound' for a walk.

We parked on the pub parking then went for a walk around the lake. It was extremely muddy but very beautiful.
Good little wall, quiet with the reward of a pub at the end.
Very nice pub but beware if you are visiting the nature reserve and not the pub. The car park belongs to the pub and they will charge you 3.50 to park.
Very muddy at the moment. Normally there are plenty of good walks.
