Hunters Chicken was good but the steak was a bit of a joke. By far the thinnest steak I have ever been served, I asked for it medium but it was well done. To be honest if you cooked it for more than 10 seconds it would be well done it was that skinny. The mushrooms were doing an outstanding job of hiding among the cremated onions but the peas were ok. Chips saved a star but only just. Sorry but won’t be returning.
The food is outstanding. All home made and home cooked. The cheese pie is something else as is the Sunday roast.

This is a really nice, traditional pub that had just come under new management. The menu was short due to reopening but it was delicious all the same. Nice, friendly staff too. We'll definitely be back in the future.
