What and amazing week we've had , fishing is great, beautiful surroundings, peaceful and the owners are really great! This place has the makings of a lovely retreat. Just need a little more pressure in the shower.

Stayed here for four nights. Not a complaint just a suggestion. The cabin could of been cleaned slightly better. Also a step to help get into the cabin would of helped a lot. My partner got a bit of wood to make a step to help me into the cabin. The window in the kitchen area did not close properly. My partner had to really push it. I understand that people come here to fish but you should be taking into account of the people that stay there to accompany the people who fish. The sofa was so uncomfortable that I could not sit on it for longer then 10 mins. Instructions on how to use things would of also been helpful. We had good go off as we could not get the fridge to work properly. Overall spring wood fishery is a fantastic place to go to fish. And the scenery is fantastic. Some lights around the lakes would be ideal. Thank you for a lovely stay and hopefully we will be back. I hope my comments do not offend.
We loved it!! Nice welcome pack in Shepherd's Hut. Fishing was good, something for all capabilities. We will return, and definitely recommend.
Fantastic lake. Beautiful setting with some very friendly goats.
A rugged campsite & fishery. Would benefit from new shower/WC block. Fishing is good.
