I find it a bit sad that this company has a low score. I know in these types of businesses, people only leave reviews when theyre mad but... Eteck are actually pretty alright as far as energy companies go... :S I never had an issue with them personally, and their customer service and their MijnEteck app (even as a non-Dutch speaking expat) have been very helpful. I would definitely recommend, though I understand they mainly service large complexes of apartments? Either way, been with them for 13 months. They have been fair with price and I even got quite a bit back from them (apparently I overpaid). Would recommend, they're reliable and easy to reach.

I was in contact only once with them and the customer service was good. The person who gave me assistance was very kind and informed that they try to improve the customer service. I think they are doing good! Big plus for no waiting time to get hold of someone.
Worst company I have ever dealt with. Unexplained charges, incorrect installation, terrible customer service. I have been in contact with Eteck customer service nearly every month trying to resolve issues, where they told me everything was set then they have me paying hundreds to collection agencies. I am not the only one, dozens of other people in my building have also had bad experiences.
Unexplained charges, overpriced and with very low quality of service (several disruptions of heat happen during the year, yet no refunds were made). A lawsuit should be made to this company for the way it treats customers, total fraud.
Another year passed and another adventures with Eteck behind us. Since 23 December there is no answer from customer support on complain that those day there was no hot water in whole flat. After couple days I also send email but till now also no answer. If anyone ever can choose between Eteck and any other company just don't take Eteck. I live 4 years in flat where Eteck is supplying us with heat (that is only in bathroom) and hot water (if you lucky you have it). XXI century, democratic rich NL but Eteck is even lover standard then Russian heating companies (yes I was living ther couple years so I know what I say). This year I will spend on complaining everywhere where it's possible on that company. I don't even mentioning fact that I use less heating since 2 years, what shows Eteck graphs that I receive but still I pay same amount that I was paying when I was using way more hot water and heating - how it's possible?
